About
The Indian market publishes more than anyone can read: hundreds of exchange filings a day, results, policy notices and price action across thousands of listed companies. India Market Lens exists to find what matters in that volume: the filing that moves a stock, the policy line that reprices a sector, the divergence between what a number says and what the market expected.
We cover NSE and BSE equities, indices and sectors, IPOs and the primary market, mutual funds, institutional flows and corporate announcements: with technical, fundamental and quantitative analytics on top of recorded exchange data. Every figure carries the time it is as of, and every claim carries the source it came from.
Each score is a formula with its inputs on the page. Piotroski F-Score, DuPont decomposition, ROIC against WACC, historical value-at-risk, beta against NIFTY 50, sector-relative grading. You can check the arithmetic rather than take the grade.
Prices, filings and fund NAVs each carry the session or the timestamp they belong to, and charts state the period they cover. A figure without a date is a claim without evidence.
When a feed is unreachable or a figure is delayed, estimated or simply absent, the screen says so. Nothing stale is presented as live, and no number is invented to complete a table.
We explain what moved and why it matters, and set out the case on both sides where there is one. We never tell you what to buy, and we hold no position in anything we write about.
Market prices and fundamentals are sourced from established public market-data providers, and corporate disclosures come from exchange filings. Trading holidays and session hours follow the NSE and BSE calendar, so a figure is never stamped with a day the market was shut.
Corrections matter to us. If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
