J B Ecotex files DRHP for Rs 400 crore IPO; OFS of 1.29 crore shares
SEBI moved higher in an ipo & listings development.
29 Sept 2026 · ET Stocks, Economic Times Markets
Surat-based J B Ecotex Ltd has filed its DRHP with SEBI to raise funds through an IPO. The proposed issue comprises a fresh issue of up to Rs 400 crore and an OFS of up to 1.295 crore shares by promoters. The company may also raise up to Rs 80 crore through a Pre-IPO Placement, which, if completed, will be deducted from the fresh issue size.
The analysis
SEBI reported Rs 400 crore and Rs 80 crore. Those are the figures as filed — what moves the price is how they sit against what the market already expected, not their absolute size.
Why it matters
- Listing activity is a read on risk appetite — a hot primary market usually means a confident secondary one.
- With SEBI involved, this carries a regulatory dimension that can outlast the immediate market reaction.
