· Economic Times Markets, ET Stocks
UBS has acquired a 4.8% stake in 360 ONE WAM by exercising 2.05 crore warrants and paying around Rs 1,584 crore. The transaction follows a partnership announced in April 2025, under which UBS agreed to sell its Indian onshore wealth management business to the Mumbai-based firm for about $32 million.
The analysis
360 One Wam reported Rs 1,584 crore, with movement of 4.8% attached to those lines. Those are the figures as filed — what moves the price is how they sit against what the market already expected, not their absolute size.
Against that, the stock is +0.9% on the day at ₹1,047.00, and has returned -4.3% over three months. It sits 14% below its 52-week high. The capital markets sector has moved -6.6% over the same period, so 360 One Wam is running 2.3 points ahead of its peers.
For 360 One Wam, the question is how much of this is already reflected in the price and how much re-rates the capital markets peer set alongside it.
