Adani Energy Solutions Gets CCI Nod To Acquire IntelliSmart Infrastructure In Rs 3,050-Crore Deal

Adani Energy Solutions pursued an acquisition in an infrastructure development.

· NDTV Profit

"The proposed combination envisages the acquisition of 100 per cent of the equity share capital of the target (IntelliSmart Infrastructure Pvt Ltd) by the acquirer (Adani Energy Solutions Ltd) from National Investment and Infrastructure Fund and Energy Efficiency Services Ltd," said CCI.

Adani Energy Solutions reported Rs 3,050, with movement of 100% attached to those lines. Those are the figures as filed — what moves the price is how they sit against what the market already expected, not their absolute size.

Against that, the stock is -1.1% on the day at ₹1,349.50, and has returned -18.7% over three months. It sits 22% below its 52-week high. The power sector has moved -13.2% over the same period, so Adani Energy Solutions is running 5.5 points behind its peers.

For Adani Energy Solutions, the question is how much of this is already reflected in the price and how much re-rates the power peer set alongside it.

  • Infra spending is both an economic-cycle signal and a direct order pipeline for capital-goods names.
  • With CCI involved, this carries a regulatory dimension that can outlast the immediate market reaction.
  • In focus: Adani Energy Solutions (ADANIENSOL), in Power.
  • Over three months: Adani Energy Solutions -18.7% against Power -13.2% (5.5 points behind).
