The analysis
Multi Commodity Exchange reported ₹455 crore, Rs 197.47 crore and Rs 799.66 crore for FY27. Those are the figures as filed — what moves the price is how they sit against what the market already expected, not their absolute size.
Against that, the stock is -5.5% on the day at ₹3,300.00, and has returned +32.1% over three months. It sits 5% below its 52-week high. The capital markets sector has moved -2.3% over the same period, so Multi Commodity Exchange is running 34.4 points ahead of its peers.
For Multi Commodity Exchange, the question is how much of this is already reflected in the price and how much re-rates the capital markets peer set alongside it.
