India's net direct tax collections rose 13.21% to Rs 13.38 lakh crore as of October 14, driven by higher corporate tax and securities transaction tax receipts. Gross collections increased 14.89% to Rs 16.03 lakh crore, while refunds jumped 24.22% to Rs 2.65 lakh crore.
