AssetGro Fintech to file DRHP with Sebi for Rs 2,000-2,500 cr IPO
SEBI moved higher in an ipo & listings development.
· Economic Times Markets
AssetGro Fintech is gearing up to file its draft IPO documents with Sebi by the end of September. With expectations to raise between ₹2,000 and ₹2,500 crore, the IPO will feature a fresh issue of around ₹800 crore. The remainder will consist of an offer for sale by current shareholders. Emirates NBD Capital has been designated as the lead manager for this endeavor.
The analysis
SEBI reported Rs 2,000, ₹2,500 crore and ₹800 crore. Those are the figures as filed — what moves the price is how they sit against what the market already expected, not their absolute size.
Why it matters
- Listing activity is a read on risk appetite — a hot primary market usually means a confident secondary one.
- With SEBI involved, this carries a regulatory dimension that can outlast the immediate market reaction.
